Fun at Camp!!

All the kids at Mark and Sharon's camp having a "Noodle War"
My sister Annie, her hubby Sean, and "Lu-Lu" at our camper doing a little fishing.

Our God son, Davey, taking a ride on the paddle boat.

We decided to get a seasonal camp lot at Breezy Point Campgrounds this year when the gas prices went through the roof. My mom and dad, and Aunt Shirley and Uncle Dan both have seasonals there so we decided to join them. I'm so glad we did because the kids have so much fun!! They fish and swim from sun up to sun down (and some how they managed to find time to have a lemonade stand?!). We went up the day after school got out (June 27) and have only come back to civilization a couple of times to check email and snail mail. We have wonderful neighbors up there. Mark and Sharon (and their 3 kids) are to our left and Jeff and Jill (and their 2 kids)are to our right. Both couples are real easy going and jump right in when the kids are having a water balloon fight. What a hoot we had this past weekend! Shad is a master on the fire pit. We hosted a chicken BBQ and corn roast for our friends and family and everyone brought a dish to pass. Boy were we ever stuffed!! It's nice to spend quality time as a family. Camp is really convenient for us. The boys and I can stay through the week and Shad just goes to work from there. We are home for a couple of days so that Cooper can attend his friends B-Day party and I can get caught up on laundry, then on Thursday, it's back to camp. :) Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far!!!

Happy campers, hmm? :o) We did so many things with our sons in the last part of our wait -- it really made the time go faster. Sounds like your summer will be over too soon.
Hugs,
Nancy
