I was going stir crazy without a computer AND a camper. So I hit the garage sales and clearance racks. Above are a few of my favorite garage sale finds.

A special gift for our little princess!

I saw this and couldn't pass it up!! My pictures aren't real clear but it is a canvas bag with a pink fleece blanket with "HUG" embroidered on it!

Treyton turned 9!!

On August 25th, Treyton turned 9!! It's so hard to believe that he was my "preemie"! He was born between 34-35 weeks... and let me add...weighed 6lbs 11oz. (That doesn't sound like a preemie to me! but what do I know!) Imagine if I carried full term!! Ouch!!! I was told to expect developmental delays and to be patient with him! Ha! He is by far my most studious child! He was walking at 8 months and running by 9!! There are no delays!!

Treyton wanted brownies instead of a cake, so that's what he got! He's pretty easy to please! He didn't ask for anything except a fish! Uh, OK, I think we can handle that! So, he picked out a small 2 gallon aquarium and a beta fish. Then that weekend he got to take his friend Carter to Darien Lake. They rode all the roller coasters and rides and had a blast!

August is a crazy month for us just like March is... we have 1 full week of back to back birthdays! My sister Kate starts the week off on the 18th, Grandma Kay 19th, Mother-in-law 22nd, Mom 24th and Treyton 25th. Happy Birthday's to all!!

Celine Dion "Taking Chances" Tour

I am a HUGE fan of Celine Dion!! My mom, Aunt Shirley, Cousin Cheryl and I all went to her "Taking Chances " concert in Buffalo on September 3rd. I am by no means a professional photographer but wanted to share some of my pictures. I have wanted to see Celine in concert for forever. It's one of those things where you either like her or not. She has an amazing voice and is a great performer. The concert opened with a comedian. I don't remember his name but he was pretty good. There was no intermission during the concert, which surprised me! Celine went down under the stage to do wardrobe changes that took maybe 3 minutes each and then right back to performing. She had dancers and other performers fill in while she was changing, but that was it!! She must lose 10lbs. at each concert! She never stopped!!! It was a great night!

My computer is back!!!

As you all know, my computer has been a royal pain in my butt the last 6 weeks!! Any hoo, I have it back!! Hopefully it will behave itself this time!! I promise to get my blog updated very soon. Be prepared for it to be lengthy!! Shad bought me the iPhone for an early birthday present so I could continue "blogstalking" but it wasn't very convienent to keep things updated! But... now I'm back!!

A little movement again...

There has been a little movement on the wait list in the past couple of weeks. Amy and Clint have accepted the referral of a beautiful baby boy named Simeon!! Congrats guys!! That moves us to #8!! Things will be slowing down for awhile as the courts in India close for pretty much the whole month of October. Most of the families that recieved referrals in July have already recieved NOC (No Objection Certificate). This was unusually quick!! Please pray for these families as they proceed through the courts. This can be a very lengthy process for them. God Bless!!
